Machiavellianism

People who are highly Machiavellian extols guile and deceit in dealing with other people. They can care less about interpersonal relationships. His loyalty is only to himself. He sees other people or organizations as mere stepping stones, he disregards the ethical norms set by the society and will do whatever it takes to further his cause and attain his objectives. He is very opportunistic. I am a Machiavellian, and I am proud to be one.

Now, over the course of the last quarter of 2008, I've researched various empirical studies about Machiavellianism. Having done so, I have found out that I, Edward Griffin Chua, am a high mach person, I also tested myself with the Christie & Geis Mach IV Scale to verify this and am aware of the testing procedures, mind you. I have always thought of myself as being low mach, because I care about the people around me... but everything changes, indeed.

Now, this blog is the seventh part of my blogging experience and I would like to talk about my experiences and interpreting them in the context of Organizational Behavior. I believe that there's an explanation to everything that's why I'm doing this.

That's it for now, I can't think of any shit to add to the intro. Ciao.
